Let's start with DnD

Boredom seems to have been following me for the past while and I actually completely forgot about this blog until I was looking at my toolbar and saw my sisters own blog. So since I have nothing else to do, this should give me an excuse to actually get this sucker up and going again!

So recently, me and a few friends decided that we wanted to try out the fantasy adventure game Dungeons and Dragons. Dungeons and Dragons is a game that requires no board of any kind, only dice, a pencil, some paper, and your imagination. You create your very own character and you decide the actions they make in this world. Depending on how you customize your character, you could be a silver tongue thief who only cares about his/her self, or you could be a hot headed warrior who bashes skulls first and asks questions later.

I have played this before in the past and it can be a lot of fun if you get everyone involved in it and since I am the only one that has any actual experience the game, I was designated Dungeon Master, which is just a fancy title to say that I'm the boss. I create the quest and I am everything that the PC's (Playable Characters) are not such as enemies, NPC's (Non-Playable Characters. Towns folk, talking animals, etc.), and also the environment. We actually decided to do this last fall but with our work load from school it was just impossible to get everyone together and also for me to come up with the quest. Now though with the approaching end of our school year, our work load has decreased quite dramatically which gives us more time to be more productive with our time! So what do we do with that time? Gather around a table every once in a while and use our imagination to vanquish make believe enemies! Duh!

I just finished the first part of the quest and now our journey can finally begin! And to introduce the epicosity of our doings, here's a little tid-bit of what we see compared to what normal folk see. Enjoy!
